This picture succeeds the one I took. The quarry is still visible, but the landscape in the foreground has changed considerably, as we've proceeded a mere couple of hundred yards on the way down

At the end of the second part of our walk, we sat on a rock watching a rapid of the Dart. Staring at its eddying whirls, as is the case with flames of a fire never seems to satisfy the eye

Monday-night we paid our first visit to the pub, the New Inn at Someplace. I spent the evening talking to Ria, while the others tried their hand at darts
